Get Wisdom
To Lead
As a leader, we have a responsibility to encourage and direct others in
a path of righteousness that honors God Almighty. More importantly, it
is vital for us to be full of God's Word so that we will able to supply
life sustaining substance from the leading of the Holy Ghost. People
need more than bread to live and that includes leaders! Luke 4:4
put it this way in the (KJV):..."man shall not live by bread alone,
but by the Word of God." The (NLT) says, "People need more
than bread for their life." But where are they going to get it
from, if you, the one they follow as you follow after Christ, are
running on crumbs?
As a leader, we must set
aside or better yet, schedule time to feed your spirit man. We do it for
the natural man. Sure, it is and requires an effort to get up in the
morning before the crack of dawn or after midnight to read and listen to
tapes to enhance our ability to effectively minister the Word of God. It
takes time and effort. But if we desire to be an effective leader, it is
well worth the time and effort. We all must take time to speak the Word.
Confessions are a vital part of a believer’s life.
Are there any guarantees that the Word of God will produce lasting
results? Yes! Listen to the Holy Spirit and keep the Word on your mind
and in your mouth every day and every night and in between, too. God’s
Word always produces good results. It works when faith is applied with
it.
The following are benefits of eating a daily, full course meal of God's
Word:

clearly.

correct it.

control.

5. It teaches you discipline and accountability.
6. It helps your understanding of wise sayings, parables and
riddles.

All that came from Proverbs Chapter One! There are 66 books in the
Bible. There is so much more to benefit you and those you lead. If you
desire to enrich your life, start with the Word of God first. Then add
the countless other resources such as books, tapes, CDs, etc., that are available. Acquire
a respect and reverence for God and His Word. This is the
beginning of knowledge. Begin each day with a dose of God's Word
and follow with regular checkups. You will be amazed at the changes that
will occur in your life!
Learn to rely upon the Holy Spirit and trust what He leads and directs
you to do. We are not perfect, but God is. Love the people you are to
lead. Be real and honest with them and most of all, remember love always
