Love Confession

I am a child of God. God is love, therefore I am a child of Love. The love of God is poured out in my heart by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5), so:

(1 Corinthians 13:4-8a)

I am very patient and kind. I have good manners. I am never rude. I am never selfish. I do not insist upon having my own will.

I refrain from boasting. I am never puffed with pride. I do not look down upon others. I am not jealous of others' good fortune.

I do not hold grudges and hardly even notice if others do me wrong. I do not remember wrongs done against me. I do not nurse hurt feelings. I do not harbor revenge. I do not yield to anger or hate. I never get provoked. I am never irritated and never resentful. I can stand any kind of treatment. I have power to endure in anything.

I am never glad when others go wrong. I am loyal no matter what the cost. I stand true through every trouble. I always believe in people, always expect the best of them, and always stand my ground in defending them. I do not expose the faults of others.

I know how to be silent. I always protect. I am eager to believe the best about everybody. I never regard anyone or anything as hopeless.

I persevere in all circumstances. There is nothing I cannot face, there is no limit to my faith, my hope, and my endurance. I never give up. I never fail.

Neighborhood Confession

My neighborhood includes_____________________.

Jesus is Lord of my neighborhood! The devil's power is broken in my neighborhood!

In Jesus' Name I say the people of my neighborhood: are receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and turning away from sin; are hungry for God's Word and believe it; are prospering spiritually and materially; are supporting and actively participating in their local churches; are reverencing God and His Word.

In Jesus' Name I say my neighbors are walking in harmony and love; are filled with God's wisdom; are led by the Spirit of God; are growing spiritually; are prospering in every way.

In Jesus' Name I say my neighborhood is free from crime and illegal drugs. It is free from robbery, rape, kidnapping, and murder. The devil and all his forces cannot operate in my neighborhood.

The light of the glorious gospel of Christ is shining into the hearts and minds of all my neighbors. All the people in my neighborhood are being saved, healed, and filled with the Holy Spirit. God is at work in my neighborhood every day.
